Food good for type 2 diabetes patients - Almonds reduces post prandial glucose by 30%

A study in Metabolism revealed that consuming an ounce of almonds before eating a high-starch meal helped type 2 diabetes patients reduce post-meal glucose levels by 30%. Another study, published in Diabetes Care, showed that eating almonds may help regulate blood glucose and cholesterol levels in men and post-menopausal women with type 2 diabetes
