Lupin acquires Japanese generic company - I'rom Pharmaceuticals

Today Lupin announced acquisition f I'rom pharmaceuticals - a generic company in Japan. The deal value is speculated to be in the range of $50m. I'rom is the same company, which Ranbaxy partnered with for sale of generic amlodipine in Japan. The deal will give Lupin access to the Japan generic marekt, which is expected to grow in double digits over the next few years.
